Built for range, power, and all-day performance, the 10 WT is Floyd Skiff’s largest and most capable skiff. The page highlights its balanced 18-foot hull, 90 hp rating, 30-gallon livewell, hydraulic steering, and serious storage for big-water days.

The 10wt appears to offer slightly more freeboard, which should provide added confidence when making runs to the patch reefs. For a skiff in its class, it floats remarkably shallow and delivers a soft, dry ride in a chop when trimmed properly, allowing the sharp forward V and large flared spray rails to do their job. Brian Floyd is directly involved in the build of every skiff, and that level of oversight comes through in the finished product. These boats are clearly built with durability in mind, with a strong yet lightweight construction that uses vacuum-infused 100% vinyl ester resin. “Built Floyd Tough” feels like a fitting description. That said, passenger capacity is where expectations should be kept in check. While the 10wt offers impressive performance and build quality, carrying three passengers plus the operator comfortably may be pushing its practical limits. In real-world use, it feels more like a true two-person skiff.
